What is Adobe’s GenAI?

Adobe’s GenAI is built into many Adobe products, and marketers can leverage both Adobe Experience Manager, Assets, and GenAI collaboratively. Adobe’s GenAI utilizes machine learning models to create and modify text-based content for marketing and personalization purposes.

Auto Tagging Assets

My favorite AI feature of Adobe Experience Manager Assets is the ability to auto-tag your assets. Adobe Assets has the ability to automatically tag images, video, and text-based assets with pertinent and descriptive keywords. Adobe’s AI model has come a long way in improving how it applies tags to your assets, but if you want further control of how your assets are tagged, Adobe Experience Manager Assets also has a Smart Tag Training feature.

Smart Tag training allows authors to upload assets, apply tags, and train Adobe Experience Manager Assets to apply those tags to relevant assets on specific folders that a team can define. Previously, authors had to manually tag each asset with relevant and descriptive tags. With the power of Adobe’s AI features, those tags can be automatically applied, saving your creative and content-authoring team countless hours.

Utilizing AI to Auto-Crop and Resize Assets

Creative teams and content authors alike can spend countless hours cropping and resizing images so that they fit for the web or fit their latest campaign launch. Adobe Assets smart cropping feature allows you to define specific presets so that anytime an asset is uploaded not only will it upload the standard size but it can also create and upload thumbnails, heroes, campaign images, or any specific size that you define. You also have the ability to crop out backgrounds and anything that is deemed unnecessary.

Content Recommendations

Every creative and marketing user has their favorite set of assets that they consistently use on marketing material. Adobe GenAI has an in-depth content recommendation system that can recommend content to users based on previous usage and ensure the content stays on-brand.

An example of this is when your team is preparing for their back-to-school campaign, where they will use similar images across multiple campaigns. Adobe GenAI can suggest a set of similar but different back-to-school images to use across various campaigns and social media outlets like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Saving authors and creatives a tremendous amount of time hunting down and selecting assets.

Adobe continues to invest in GenAI and has various features that are planned to be released into their products over the coming year. I’m extremely excited to see what Adobe comes up with next for GenAI and how it can help marketers, developers, and designers be more productive and enhance their productivity.
